The purpose of this tool is to check for the presence of transit service at a location and in the surrounding community. If there is a route found at the location or within a ½ mile, use the Transit Agency Contact List to identify the appropriate transit agency contact. This tool uses a ½ mile buffer of published transit routes to account for unscheduled transit routes that could be affected, such as routine detour or non-revenue routes (also known as deadheads).
